Hello everyone! I have to start with a bit of an apology for the long delay of a new blog post. When I started this I had intentions of doing them more often, but you know how it goes! Life happens and the next thing you know its fall. It may end up being more of a seasonal thing :)
We had a nice summer. We got to enjoy vacation with a lot of our family and even 3 of our youngest son's friends. We were sad our daughter and her family couldn't make it, but she was busy being 9 months pregnant and about to welcome our 5th grandbaby into the world, so we gave her a pass. I got home just in time to stay with her other 2 children while she had our new granddaughter.
We also delt with pool flooding this summer. Which was disappointing and took away from our pool time but I think we finally have it properly repaired!
We have been a little slow for the last month or so around here (puppy wise) but I have welcomed the slower pace as a little break. At the same time, I am so excited about our new puppies and all of our upcoming litters due at the end of the year. My husband has started delivering puppies for me and he really enjoys it. Just today I booked him to deliver 2 pups to Philadelphia and 2 pups to California (yes, Sandy's entire litter) all in one weekend in December!

3 months old on October 8th!
Our beach crew in July, which consisted of our oldest son Bailey, his wife Olivia, their 2 children, Cohen and Camilla. Our youngest son Jake, his 2 friends Jackson and Conrad, and Conrad's girlfriend, Riley! And of course, my husband Kerry and I!

As I've mentioned our youngest son will enter into the Space Force in January. He is continuing to work for me here at The DB but to keep himself busy he got a job at a rock quarry! He is considered a miner ⛏️ I told him to soak up all life's experiences that come his way. He is lucky to get to work with one of his best friends.
Jake also was able to capture a shot of the Northern lights at our house this past week. My husband and I missed it. We were a little further south at the time at our oldest son's house.
We were at my oldest son's house for a viewing party to watch the episode of Family Feud that they had recorded last February. It took that long for it to air. However we were late to the party because Sandy was delivering her pups! 😁
Last but not least, this is my youngest brother, Cole. He is 16 years younger than me. He just got engaged this last week. We are so excited to welcome Karli into the family! We may even have the wedding in our back yard. Not sure yet about that one!
